TARDIF, MURRAY & ASSOCIATES INC. (TMA) is an independent firm providing professional consulting services to the construction industry and financial institutions. Our team includes management consultants, engineers and technicians with the many years of hands-on experience required to deal with the issues confronting our clients. We also have an established network throughout North America allowing us to bring specialized expertise to respond to our clients needs.

We are team players. We work with key personnel from client organizations, legal counsel and others involved in the issue. We contribute to the development of strategy and the plan for the implementation of the strategy selected by the client. We implement our mandate in conformity with the clients' strategy. We comply to budgets and to schedules. We believe that communication is critical and we provide continuous feedback to our clients through a reporting process customized to their particular needs.

We remain current with industry developments through our active participation in trade associations, seminars and conferences. We are members of the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE), the Quebec Construction Association, the Canadian Construction Association, the American Association of Cost Engineering (AACE), the Surety Association of Canada and the American Bar Association. Our team members are recognized as experts in their fields.

We take full advantage of the technologies available in todays' business environment to compile, process and analyse information and to communicate the results. We provide ongoing education and training to our own staff and continue to enhance our in-house information systems.

We go where necessary to get the job done. Availability and mobility are key features of our business philosophy of responsiveness to our clients' needs. We have and continue to provide a front line presence when needed to deal with problems when and where they arise. We pride ourselves on providing personalized services backed up by our total commitment to quality.

We are bound by a code of ethics based upon two cardinal rules: confidentiality and absence of conflict of interest. Confidentiality is foremost in the minds of our clients and is of utmost importance to us. Each specific mandate is carefully analysed and reviewed with the client at the outset to identify any potential conflict of interest. All our personnel adhere to a corporate confidentiality agreement.

We bring a focused approach to any assignment and provide timely and cost-effective solutions. We know that, in the final analysis, our clients are looking for value for their money and we deliver.

We believe that we have a responsibility to contribute to environmental protection and have, therefore, instituted an in-house recycling program whereby all of our paper is recycled. We also maximize the use of imaging and computer work technology in a network environment to avoid unnecessary duplication of hard copy documents.
